No TV this morning, just sitting with breakfast.
Noticing the flavors & textures, digestion process and looking forward to see how this will affect the rest of the day.
Some would say this is a contemplative practice and I think any meal time is a good time to pay attention. When we over eat it’s because we are not paying attention to our tummy.
By paying attention to the whole process from making the meal, chewing, tasting, smelling and so on we we become more involved, more focused in our daily routines which help us focus and pay attention to all parts of out life (body, speech and mind) and goals.
